I’m waiting on my MP Lambor to arrive from Hong Kong…the wait is killing me! My G2 Bruticus is sitting in my Pile of Loot. Not in a big hurry on the big guy so I’ll wait until I get my bonus check from work to see if there is anything else I want to toss in before I have the order shipped.
I can’t wait to crack Sideswipe open, I may do so tomorrow. I love how small and compact his box is! What’s killing me is wanting to open G2 Bruticus too, but I don’t want to over load on new stuff (I like to open things one at a time!) #firstworldproblems. lol.
I’m not too big a fan of the new FOC Bruticus, but the G2 color scheme and that packaging look beautiful! I can relate to your giddiness — I got my loot today from Robot Kingdom: Toys R Us Masterpiece Optimus Prime, Asia Exclusive Sixshot, and MP Lambor. They even threw in a WST Sixshot! I opened the Lambor box and the smell hit me. I’ll always remember a certain smell the G1 toys had when I first took them out of the box. MP Lambor had that same smell! I’m 8 years old all over again!
J – MP-10, either the Takara or Hasbro (TRU) version is amazing, you’ll love him. I have the Takara, but I love the animation colors of the TRU version. I can’t wait to open up Sideswipe too. I’ve opened his box, but he’s still in his bubble for now. I was tempted to pick up Sixshot, but I’m going to wait for the ToyWorld version at this point.
As for Bruticus, he gets a bad rap, mainly because of the goofy stock photos that have him all lanky and weird. Check out my SDCC posts to see some of his potential, and I’ll be posting on G2 for even more improvements on the over all look. I love the colors though!
Still waiting on my Lambor. UPS tracking tells me it’ll be at my door Monday. Can’t wait!

The G2 Bruticus Set is pretty decent! Lambor looks interesting!
