Just an update, I’m continuing to learn the ins and outs of Photoshop I haven’t produced anything I feel is good enough to have up in the Screen Savers section, but I’m getting there.
Here’s my latest creation, just dinking around with overlays and such:

I’ve been meaning to ask you how you get your embossed lettering different colors. I can only get the grey/silver look.
I usually do a gradient overlay and select the colors from there. Even on the silver/chrome one, you can delete the base colors and use your own. But you need to use Color Dodge I believe on the overlay. I have a really big -event post coming up in just a bit, you’ll see another example there.
